The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
